Create Variations in your circles to make them more challenging

U12 and younger

We all fall into the practice of repeating the same drills. Habits die hard.

To make your circle drills (in particular for youth players) more challenging, try different variations on the basic pattern to push your kids out of their comfort zone. Some of these include:

Crossovers (forwards) to Crossunders (backwards)

C- Cuts Forwards to Crossovers (forwards)

Mowhawks (inside edges) to Crossovers (Forwards or backwards)

Crossovers with Jumps at the hash marks

Transitional turns at the hash marks (pushing from forwards to backwards to forwards)

and many more…

Get out of the basic and challenge your kids on their edgework!!
