Incorporate Chips or Passes to Oneself in Obstacle Courses

Good for all ages
Transcript

No transcript...

Obstacles courses at skill sessions or with youth players should not just have players stickhandling around a stationary obstacle.

Use structures that make the player gather speed and retrieve, protect or skate without the puck.

Passing to oneself, or chipping is an essential skill at all ages and should be incorporated in many drills or obstacle course.

This clip is just one example, but incorporate these into your practices as well.
