Rim & Pass off Pad Drill
Great for stations with U14 and older groups
Lines at the bluelines- Starts off with the opposite side rimming the puck.
Player will have to collect the puck off the wall, a difficult maneuver, and get their head up quickly as they advance around the boards.
Up the ice and a quick cut back at the tire (or cone or spot on the ice) and bring it to the net. As you do this the player that made the rim will drive hard to the net.
Puck carrier should shoot for low, far- toe on the goalie to create a rebound.
Net Drive player should try to score
