Swap Drill

Good for ages U14 and older

Trimble’s Drill of the Week- The Swap Drill

Great warmup drill for passing, shooting, skating and much more.

Two lines at each end (corner) of the rink. One line at the dot and the other at the has marks.

On the whistle, players start passing together advancing the puck up to the blueline area.

Once they reach the blueline, puck gets passed to the player on the wall, as the inside player peels off towards the middle of the ice (staying onside at the blueline) looking for a long pass from the opposite line.

Once a long pass is completed (on each end) the players will enter the zone two on zero, for a quick play on the net.

Stress Middle drive. Good puck placement of the shot. Stopping on the net. Much More.

Enjoy.
