D/F line up in opposite diagonal corners to start. 2 nets and goalies in nets.
on the whistle D’s and Forwards begin passing as they skate from the corner to the far blueline.
Once they reach the far blueline, the Defenseman will perform an escape with the puck and forward will swing low and make himself an option for a pass.
Once he receives the pass from the defenseman, he accelerates around the nuetral zone faceoff dots with the puck.
The defenseman will gap up, staying to the inside of the forward (stick on the ice) and track the forward as he circles through the nuetral zone.
Once they together cross the near blueline, it becomes a live 1 v1.
